Do you have a child who is due to begin Primary 1 in September 2024?

At Lisnasharragh there are two classes in each year group with 380 children attending altogether. In September 2024 the school will be permitted to accept up to 60 children into Primary 1. Completed forms should be submitted no later than Friday 26th January 2024.  (Places are also available in other year groups).

Application Procedure

Digital Applications

  • If your child is starting primary school in September 2023, you can apply for a place online from Tuesday 9th January 2023 from 12 noon via the Education Authority P1 Application Portal.

  • The closing date and time for Primary 1 applications is 12 noon on Friday 27th January 2022.

  • Admissions criteria for Primary schools published on the EA website.

  • Tuesday 9 January 2024 - at 12 noon

    EA Connect opens for online applications for Primary 1.

  • Friday 26 January 2024 - at 12 noon

    EA Connect closes for online applications for Primary 1.

  • Wednesday 31 January 2024 – by 4pm

    Deadline for submitting verification/supporting documents via EA Connect. Final date for late applications.

  • Thursday 25 April 2024

    Parents/carers will receive application outcomes via email (where one is held) or by letter.

  • You can view admissions criteria online at www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions

  • The admissions criteria is only applied when a school is over-subscribed.

  • The admissions criteria for Lisnasharragh PS is included our Prospectus for 2024-25

  • Parents must bring their child’s Birth Certificate to their first choice school no later than 12 noon on Friday 3rd February.

the admissions procedures will be available on the Education Authority website at the end of November/ beginning of December.
